Darlene Kulesa, owner and
founder of Global Court Reporting Services, has over 20 years of experience working as a Certified Shorthand Reporter, Paralegal and Court Reporting Agency Manager in the state of New Jersey.

Having launched Global in 1996,
Kulesa brings a unique, experience-rich perspective and practical insight about the varied needs of the Court Reporting industry. Kulesa's work experience and management background includes years of field court reporting duty and agency supervisor capacities. She is the first woman to receive the State of New Jersey "Certified Shorthand Reporting Workers' Compensation Bid", serving the Paterson, Hackensack and
Jersey City areas.

A native of Paterson, NJ, with an interest in law since childhood, Kulesa received her paralegal degree in 1981 and court reporting degree in 1995. While serving as a paralegal at several law firms, Kulesa was responsible for handling complex asbestos claims.

This experience taught Kulesa the needs and requirements of attorneys for accurate transcripts and gave her the perspective to judge the strength and weaknesses of other agencies. Seeking additional responsibilities,
she became the manager of a court reporting agency from 1991 to 1995, prior to opening Global.

Kulesa's enthusiasm and motivational skills, coupled with her vast experience, are rare qualities that help to recruit top-notch reporters into her organization. She is a tireless motivator who believes in instilling in her staff the overall belief that "what truly makes people work their hardest, is to find a meaningful idea that they believe is worth working for." She strives to make exhilaration common and exhaustion rare amongst Global's court reporting staff.
